How Should You Prepare for a Search?
The clearer the brief, the better the match. Before we start, we go through the position with you. It helps to think about the duties and working hours, whether the role is live-in or live-out, the languages the household speaks, the level of formality you expect and who the new member of staff will report to. If you are unsure about any of these points, we advise you on how to define them.
A new member of staff also needs time to learn how your household works. If you would like support with this, we can arrange training for household staff with independent trainers, for new and existing team members alike.

Can I hire staff for a season or a short period?
Yes. Domestic staff can be found for as long or as short a time as you need them, on a permanent, fixed-term or temporary contract. A temporary arrangement suits a summer season, a period of renovation or the time until a permanent position is filled.
How long does it take to find the right candidate?
That depends on the position, the requirements and how quickly suitable candidates are available. A clear brief and prompt feedback on the profiles you receive help the search along. When you get in touch, tell us when the new member of staff should start, and we will tell you openly what is realistic.
What does household staff recruitment cost?
There is no fixed price list, because each search is different. The cost depends on the position, the type of contract and the scope of the search. Each request is quoted individually on request, and you decide once you have seen the proposal.
Can new staff be trained for my household?
Yes. After a placement, independent trainers can help new and existing staff learn the standards and routines of your household. We arrange and coordinate the training as a separate service, so that recruitment and training come from one point of contact.
